Hilton Singapore

Five months ago, I had my trip at Singapore with my friends. First time we decided to stay at Orchard Parade Hotel because It was the cheapest hotel around Orchard Road. However, we changed our hotel to Hilton, Singapore because this hotel provided special rate “Stay 2 nights free 1 nights” especially included buffet breakfast for 2. I think, this price was not expensive and if you have register the member of this hotel, you will also get bonus points from Hilton.

Well, this hotel made me impressive with lovely and nice staff. Our room as Deluxe room, King Bed was very softly and made us slept well every nights, also LCD 32″ in room with many favourites TV programs. On the top floor, the sport club is very clean and lot of hi-technology exercise equipments and I loved the swimming pool although it is so small but it is design very cute. I recommended everyone to get a breakfast at this hotel because this hotel provided many nationalities menu (also Thai Foods) and everything is very delicious and made me out of control my weight.

If I will have a chance to travel in Singapore, I will stay at Hilton Singapore again. (If I will get this promotion).

Against his best intentions and the taunts of his buddies, Landon finds himself falling for Jamie and learning some central lessons in life.

Review
I read this fiction before I saw this movie “A Walk to Remember” which starting by Manny Moore and Shain West. Honestly, I am not the romantic guy and also romantic fictions that does not my type. Well, I told to my friend “Who is Nicholas Spark” ? Then, she was a bit upset and told me that Nicholas Spark is one of famous romantic writer, and his famous fictions such as “At First Sight” , “The Notebook”, “Message in the bottle” and many more. So, she would recommended me to read “A Walk to Remember” because she said this fiction is not like normally romantic fictions and I will impress and remember its like as “A Walk to Remember”

I read this fiction in year 2001 that cover on my blog does not like my fiction, however I chose this cover because it is very cute. I think this cover which made you feel relaxing before you will read its. I read about 2-3 chapters, firstly I thought Landon’s Stories was as same as other teenage love because Landon was famous guy in school and Jamie was not famous girl in school. Then, the unexpect situation made them met together. For a half of this fictions, the stories was very interesting which they learnt and share their different experience, then also accept their different life and vision. Most importantly, this fiction made me believe the power of love which changed everyone from bad guy to be good guy and also will change his/her life forever. After I finished to read this book, I agreed with my friend that this fiction give me more than word “Romantic Fiction”.

“A Walk to remember” is romantic fiction that be proper for everyone who believe in the power of love and always think positively although you will get the worst situation of your life !

Discovery New Zealand Part 1

When I was 12 years old, it was my first time that I heard the stories of this country from my friend. I was a bit jealous and I hope when I will have my career, I must go to New Zealand. Then my dream is true, I went to New Zealand on  26-30 June 2009 and 1-2 July 2009. Well, it was my first time that I travelled alone outside my country  which made me very excited and bit nervous. However, I am confident with my English skill and I want to to learn and solve the unexpect situation by myself which be beneficial to my dream career as the QR Flight Attendant.

Delicious Menu from Thai-Airways

I flew with Thai-Airways International which I received good services and sleep well at all time. Also, their menu was delicious and they provided personal in-flight entertainment which I enjoyed.

Before landed at AKL Intl Airport

After departure in Auckland International Airport, I had a Domestic Transit Flight to Wellington which is the capital of New Zealand and Thailand Embassy that address in here. Unfortunately, I rarely had photographs in Wellington because I got the unexpect situation which made me sorrow. However, I think Wellington is nice city, silent and if I will have enough money, I will get my house and live in Wellington.

At Wellington's Ferrie Port

While walking along the Featherston St.

Well, I returned to Auckland after 2 days trip in Wellington. I stayed the hotel nearly the business district on Queen Street Road. I think, Auckland was not nice city like wellington because this city had multi-nationalities and sometimed I saw someone look like a refugee and some streets was not safe in mid-night.

View of Auckland

By the way, I asked the concierge of my accomodation who he was very nice and got many tourist information to me. Then, I travelled outside Auckland and I chose “Waiheke Island” for my fist tourist attraction. I would get the Fuller’s ferrie from the Auckland’s Ferrie Port that used 35 minutes from CBD. The Fuller’s Ferrie always have 2 times from the CBD which are 10 am and noon.

The Spectacular Rainbow

Waiheke Island is very famous in Land of Wineyard which has about 26 wineyard for tourists (but this trip I was not taste their wine) and also have famous “Palm Beach” and “Onetangi Beach” that New Zealian love to have picnics and stay in Summer.

Many Yachtes, One please !

ฺBeautiful View from Waiheke Island

One of my dreams, Private house on Island

Sunset at Palm Beach

On the Waiheke Island, I met my new friend who was from Saudi-Arabia, his name is “Hassan”. He was so nice and also travel alone like me. Moreover, he shared his experiences from travel around the globe especially in Russia. He recommended me, Russia is quite safety and he asked to me that did not travel in Winter because it was very cold and every cities in Russia had minus celcius degree !

My photograph by Hassan, So smart and handsome guy ^_^

Next part, I will write about sightseeing around Auckland and Rotorua !

Art of Singapore

Almost in every trip outside my country, if not I visited famous tourist attraction, I spent my free time for seeing art galleries or museums. Sometimes many drawing in art galleries which heal my emotion and sometimes make my inspiration to create new computer project.  Then, most of museums show something which I do not see normally and tell many stories of the city.

This year, I travelled for 2 times in Singapore. Although, Singapore is very small country and it has quite natural sightseeing attraction but the art galleries and museums are very interesting and value for my money.

Red Dot Musuem which has new innovations and their design are extra-ordinary. You could take subway line EW and then stop at EW15 Tanjong Pagar Station, then take a walk for 10 minutes. Opened Friday to Tuesday and Closed Wednesday and Thursday.

Singapore Art museum which has many art works of famous artist around the globe.  You could take subway line EW or NS and then stop at EW13 or NS 25 City Hall Station, then go through Bras Basah Rd for 15 minutes. Opened Everyday.

Well, I show some of my photographs from “Red Dot Museum” and “Singapore Art Museum”. Let’s See !

The Kite Runner

The Kite Runner

Author : Khaled Hosseini
Paperback : 400 pages
First Publish : Year 2003

Synopsis (from www.amazon.com)
The Kite Runner
follows the story of Amir, the privileged son of a wealthy businessman in Kabul, and Hassan, the son of Amir’s father’s servant. As children in the relatively stable Afghanistan of the early 1970s, the boys are inseparable. They spend idyllic days running kites and telling stories of mystical places and powerful warriors until an unspeakable event changes the nature of their relationship forever, and eventually cements their bond in ways neither boy could have ever predicted. Even after Amir and his father flee to America, Amir remains haunted by his cowardly actions and disloyalty. In part, it is these demons and the sometimes impossible quest for forgiveness that bring him back to his war-torn native land after it comes under Taliban rule.

Review
I spent my time for 3 weeks which read the Kite Runner. While I was reading this fiction, I was feeling sad about this stories. I remembered, more 10 years ago the Taliban was destroyed the Image of Buddha nearest mountain by bomds , which made me aloso very sad and sorrow for their action.  Well, I hope it will not happen to me and my country, because from now on, my country and the Republic of Cambodia have disputed on the temple of Preah Vihear and the ex-prime minister of Thailand which there will be critical problems in politics and diplomacy of each other.

Although, almost half of the fiction has focus on the relationship of Amir and Hassan but the writer has describe the situation, environment after and before the Taliban which rule the Afganistan. Before the Taliban rule, the city of Kabul was very peachful and beautifully. Then, after the Taliban rule everything has changed, they had brutally for all people especially female who sometimes ill treat like an animal such as beat by hard rock, tie by chain and many more that I did not expect. Well, The city of Kabul likes the hell on earth, it has many ruined building , every kids have no food and most of them are orphans.

Then, I am not surprise this fiction got the Best-Seller at all time from 2003 and also the famous hollywood’s director Marc Foster could create the Film “The Kite Runner” in 2007.

I recommended this book for everyone who want to know the situation in Afganistan and the feeling of the people in Afganistan because the writer who he is Afganistian and he wrote from his true story. Most importantly, I believe in the near future the Afganistan will be peacefully and freedom from Taliban, also all people will be happily again.

Most Valuable for your money and your free time !
